In many cases the three red lights on an Xbox can appear due to a problem in the power supply that the console has. If this happens a special process should be used for fixing the three red lights on an Xbox. The reason for this comes from how in many cases the power that is being used by the console might not be full unless the power supply is hooked up properly.
First the power cord should be removed from the console. To do this the plug that goes into an electrical outlet must first be unplugged as a means of avoiding electrical shock. In some cases the power that is supposed to go from the outlet to the Xbox might not be working properly due to the power supply system being poorly connected in some way. By disassembling the supply and then putting it back together again the problem may be solved.
In some cases this may not be the best fix for the three lights on an Xbox. If this is the case the Xbox should be unplugged completely and brought over to another room or another wall outlet. If the console works and the three red lights on an Xbox are cleared out the console should be working just fine. Before getting the console moved to its old location the old outlet should be inspected or at least working with a different surge protector.
